He’s the first to wish you happy birthday and remind you of how much you’ve accomplished, to tell you you’re appreciated and share why. Mick inspires loyalty because of his concern for and attention to others - it’s all about his team, his friends, his family, his clients, his community. And in his 50th year in real estate, and 46th year with the CENTURY 21 brand, the team at CENTURY 21 Scheetz recognized and honored Mick with the company’s Spirit Award for his relentless dedication to others, sheer enthusiasm, and vision. Each year, the Spirit Award celebrates a CENTURY 21 Scheetz agent who portrays a positive, giving, and compassionate spirit. The recipient is nominated by peers and colleagues.

Where it Began
Mick Scheetz purchased the first CENTURY 21 franchise in the state of Indiana in 1976 and led the way for a new model of real estate business and service for the consumer and agent. From the inception of his company, Mick embraced change, took risks to implement new systems, and valued building the company on a strong foundation of giving back to the community, service to the consumer, and exceptional leadership.
50 years after he started his real estate career, Mick is still going strong, leading the company he founded with now co-owner and CEO, Tracy Hutton. CENTURY 21 Scheetz is the fifth largest franchise in the CENTURY 21 System of independent brokers and the number one CENTURY 21 franchise in Indiana. As co-owners, Mick and Tracy operate their company with a corporate mindset, customer-centric mission, and family-friendly focus. Through this approach, they’ve grown CENTURY 21 Scheetz to approximately 400 relentless sales professionals and help thousands of Indiana home buyers and sellers each year.
A Lifetime of Service
At the Gold Awards gala, Mick’s family joined him onstage as he was presented with the prestigious Spirit Award. Together, they watched a touching video in which they described the love, admiration, and respect they have for their husband and father. Mick was met at the gala by many friends and colleagues with whom he’s worked throughout his career, and the sentiment was the same for them. Mick accepted his award to a long, standing ovation and then spoke about what everyone has grown accustomed to…how proud he is of them.
