I am a born and raised Hoosier state native.  My husband and I both grew up on the Southside of Indianapolis in Greenwood.  After living in a condo in downtown Indianapolis for several years after we got married, we decided it was time to move to the suburbs and get more space with a yard so that we would have more room to one day bring home children and get a dog. Having loved the culture of downtown Indy, we didn't want to be too far from all of our favorite restaurants and shops.  A happy medium between downtown living and getting more space to expand our family was moving to Irvington, an eclectic community, just east of downtown Indy. Fast forward a few years, and we now have a baby girl and a doberman and we absolutely love where we decided to plant our roots.  Irvington is a quirky, artsy neighborhood with a strong sense of community and is rich in history.  It has been a wonderful experience getting to know and become friends with our neighbors.

One of my favorite things to do is to cook.  It is how I show love to those around me.  I enjoy trying new recipes and on any given week night, if I'm home, you can find me with music on, cooking dinner for my family. Other favorite activities of mine are going on walks around the neighborhood with our pooch and daughter and checking out the beautiful old homes in our area.  I also enjoy visiting antique shops and the thrill that comes with finding hidden gems.  I'm a lover of music and have tunes on constantly.  My parents gave me the gift of exposing me to great music as a child and because of that, I count The Beatles, the Eagles, and Van Morrison as some of my favorites. If I'm not working, you can find me hanging out with my family, scrolling through home decor profiles on instagram, or catching up on my favorite tv shows.
